the very best as at all times, wrangler is the best. great deal, great jeans. remember always wrangler May 23, 2015
These jeans ripped after I wore them twice. These jeans are supposed to be twice as strong as the 13MWZ wranglers that I have worn for years. I am a 66 year old woman and wrangler 13MWZ jeans are all I wear because they are the only jeans I can get that are long enough and fit. The 13MWZ Black jeans were not available so I thought I'd try the 47MWZ Black. Big mistake, I have only had them 3 weeks max and I have two rips across the front of the left thigh. I felt nothing, my skin is not scratched and yet I have virtually a brand new pair of $47.00 jeans that are ruined. Not at all happy with the performance of these jeans. Will never purchase again. The best product ever Quality, craftmanship, style, fabric the very best, thanks Wrangker! April 11, 2015
47MWZ Regular Ive been wearing Wrangler Jeans for atleast 10 plus years. I'm 68 years young and I'm slim build. waist between 32-33 in. i love the jeans but the back pocket where i carry my bilfold will wear a hole first on the upper right corner of the left pocket. it does it on every pair i have. Are the jeans not made to carry a bilfold? also it only takes less than a year for this to happen. When i pay $40 for a pair of jeans my expection is the may fade but not wear a hole in the seat. Ive even went to the cregular color because i thought it may be a process thing. help to understand. April 3, 2015
Great Jeans...very pleased! I really like the jeans. I had purchsed 36MWZ which are slim fit. The slim fit were too tight around the hips and legs, but the 47MWZ Regular Fit add just enough in the hips and legs to make them fit very well. Really like this pair of jeans. April 2, 2015
Decent product, room for improvement I am disappointed that there is not at least a 36 inseam if not even a 38 inseam. I have a hard time finding jeans to fit me in the length. If I wear shoes and sit down it looks like I have high waters on. You guys start out and have an excellent product then you go and change it or take away sizes, STOP DOING THAT!! The new advance comfort jeans you came out with are nice but not everybody likes one that has stretch in them! Go back to larger jeans, even if you don't necessarily sell a ton of them! Big and tall guys will appreciate it! Thanks in advance! January 8, 2015

Answer:
I own these jeans and the waist is in a more natural position. The 936 Slim and 13MWZ jeans that I own have a much higher waist about 1-2 Inches higher. The jeans are cut lower so the rise (crotch to top of the zipper is shorter).

Answer:
The rigid wash is the only shrink to fit style. The other colors are all pre-shrunk denim. 47MWZ Rigid style is unwashed. The 47MWZPW and the other colors (rough stone, stonewashed, dark stone, and black) are all prewashed.

Answer:
All of the 47MWZ styles are pre-washed as part of the manufacturing process. If you are interested in the rigid version of this style (which is not pre-washed and has a stiffer denim), you can find it here: http://www.wrangler.com/store/WRG_S.... As a general rule, while both rigid and pre-washed styles have minimal shrinkage when washed, the rigid will experience more than the pre-washed styles.

I wear a size 34-35x36 but can not wear original 13mwz jeans because they will not fit my over my thighs, and I am not a huge fan of the 31mwz becuse they seem slightly tapered at the bottom, and I prefer the rigid wash so they last longer at work. Are the 47mwz a happy medium, or am I left with the 31mwz?

I wear the same size and the 47mwz fit for the same reasons. I want my jeans to fit over my boots and not bind at my thighs. Go with the 47mwz....................

Answer:
I have purchased all there and I would say the 31 is the most relaxed fit of them all and too large for me. I think the main difference with the 13MWZ and the 47MWZ is the rise on the jean and the cut of the leg. The rise is shorter on the 47MWZ and sits at your natural waist about 1-2 inches lower than the 13MWZ. The thigh is cut about the same in both in my opinion but the leg opening at the bottom fits and stacks better over bigger boots with the 47MWZ style. Personally I like the fit of 47MWZ better. I 36X38 to stack them better over my boots. But the overall fit of the 47MWZ works better for me. I have average thighs ~25 inches and they fit me very well.

Answer:
No the color is very different. I have the rough stone in both styles and the color on the Premium Performance style is a much darker fabric with a different pattern to the color markings (a slight wiskering effect on the jeans) vs. the 13MWZ is more of a stonewashed effect on the color.

For example, I've ordered a 29x34 in one wash and it fits perfect. However, I've ordered a 29x34 in another wash, and I have to get the pants hemmed(costing me more money), because the pants are much longer! This problem has a occurred with the Advanced Comfort 47MWZ's as well.

To the person looking into this problem/question...please have the inseam measurements confirmed prior to stating that all inseam cuts are consistent, no matter the wash.
