Comfortable but? These jeans are very comfortable and soft. But, the crotch is a little short and tight. November 23, 2014
Great Jeans for all but the coldest weather! I wear these jeans year around, but switch to the Wrangler 35001's for the heavier 14 ounce fabric in the coldest weather conditions. As a truck driver, I can experience 80 degree temperature swings winter and summer, depending on whether I am going into a sub-zero warehouse in the summer, or traveling across country in the winter. So, options for comfort are most appreciated. The 35005 and 35001 jeans meet my needs year around. Thank you for carrying the big and tall sizes!!! October 13, 2014
Product not as advertised These are not stretch Jeans. They are a dungaree Fabric that while soft, will not last as denim will. First time they sent my order, I recieved someone else's. Review said they were small for their size. Not True. June 30, 2014
Wear a pair everyday. Last two pair lasted 7 years, being washed once each week! June 6, 2014
Do not waste your money. Do not waste your money, because these are NOT up to the quality of regular Wrangler "Premium" jeans. These are marked up Wal-Mart quality items. * Runs VERY small * Looks and feels cheap, but are twice the price * Advertised as "Boot Cut", and they are no different than straight legs. VERY disappointed, may never order from Wrangler again. May 7, 2014
To small of a fit. I wear alot of wranglers, size 48. I ordered a size 50 because of other comments. Well I got it and it fits tighter then my 48. I never had a problem like this with wranglers before. I always wear wranglers because they fit a hair bigger then other brands. I hope wrangler fixes this. April 21, 2014

Answer:
If a 56 waist is snug, I would recommend a 58 if you'd like a bit more room.
