I love these jeans for riding, but be sure to downsize one full size or they will be way too big for you. Go by the measurements in the size chart, not your usual size. They are soft and not too heavy, which is what I prefer for riding my horse.

Even using the size chart pretty carefully, this style is enormous around the waist and hips. Otherwise nice quality and real denim.

These are wonderful jeans---quality, value! However, they give me "hips" where I don't have any, and don't want any!! Sorry. Not good for me. Will be trying men's jeans for a straighter, closer-to-the-body fit. Thank you : )!

We returned the product because it wasn't what my wife thought she was getting. I probably won't purchase any jeans for her online ever again, but do intend to purchase mine and my boys online.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Whetstone why not heavy denim too???
great fit and almost real denim -- close enough to feel and look good. The rise is perfect and the waistband doesn't gap in the back -- and the waist doesn't come up high like granny panties. A teeny, teeny baggy across the stomach. My 100% denim jeans finally had to go or be indecent, but it is almost impossible to find 100% denim jeans for women -- everywhere for men, but not us. Why not? We work even harder. I'm betting you'd sell scads more of this jean if made up in 100% denim with a little bit more heft to them -- a heavier weight cotton.
Because the fit is really, really good -- comfortable for working and nice enough to take to town.
