Working cowgirls need 100%, heavy weight cotton. I ranch and team rope. I need a REAL working jean, minus the kiddie bling. My waist no longer fits into the 14MWZ, but they were awesome in their day. I would love to see Wrangler make the natural rise 18MWZ in the same 100%, heavy weight cotton for all of us who are in a saddle all day, every day. Love the QBaby fit, but they only last about two weeks, and the spandex is unbearably hot. Please, Wrangler, make an authentic working jean again, for the cowgirls that aren't girls anymore. And yeah, we want them made in AMERICA! Thanks, Beth Bronson August 19, 2014
Here's the real deal Ladies... I may be old school, but from my perspective (I am a guy), this cut of jean is not only fully functional on the back of a horse, but it looks good too...often to the point of distraction. I grow weary of embroidery, rhine stones, tatoos, and plumber's smiles. Tradition is important. This cut is chock full of tradition designed for people who have to move on a fast horse, work for a living, and still look good on Saturday night. Message to Wrangler, or the conglomerate that now owns them. Cowboy cut jeans made for the rodeo arena need to be made in the USA with 100% cotton denim. I am sure that Jim Shoulders would agree if he were still here. If it works, don't fix it. Do the right thing. Wrangler means a lot to rodeo, and rodeo means a lot to Americans. It feels wrong to pull a pair of jeans on in the morning that are unique to a lifestyle, that are formed to function, but made in Pakistan. Kinda like kissing your sister...it just ain't right. Bring the production of 13 and 14mwz's home. There is more to a lifestyle than profit margin. That being said, I am a customer for life. June 5, 2014
Runs very small I am 5'11" tall and 120 lbs. I usually wear a size 4, but am having a hard time with sizing from all retailers lately (including Wrangler). I bought sizes 5 & 7 and they're both way too small in the waist. The weird thing is that the 7's almost fit just like the 5's. Not sure if there was an error in sizing, or not. I'm going to either have to try a 9 or an 11 or another style with spandex which I deplore. I just want Wrangler to know that not all women have hourglass figures and to cut into the waist like these jeans do is unrealistic. I have a more athletic figure and just hope I can find something that fits since my old jeans are wearing out. June 2, 2014
This Jean is Durable Fit's just right. I like the higher waist, even though I am short wasted, it is still very comfortable. The length and fit are perfect. I ordered a size 9 with 32" length. I am 5' 6" and they are a nice fit over my boots. I normally wear a 6 in misses and the 9 in Jr's are just right in line. June 2, 2014
Wrangler Jeans Great jeans for working around the barn and riding.... March 31, 2014
Liked them but had to return These jeans were what I was looking for. I used the fit chart and "was told" I am a size 7, although the measurements seemed large, I didn't want to go smaller. I also got length 30". I am 5'7" and weight 120 lbs. These fit around the waist, no belt needed, are high enough, no back gap. Legs are slim, but not tight, did not feel or look like leggings - just right. Length hit the back of my shoe. The disappointment was they were a tad too tight in the crotch. Not that they cut in, but there was no "give" or even a wee bit extra room. I wore the jeans for about 1/2 an hour, sitting, bending, etc. and decided that they could become uncomfortable after several hours. I was also worried what might happen after washing and drying (cold wash, low dry), so I didn't want to take the chance in the event they ended up in the "Almost Perfect Jeans" section of my closet. So reluctantly I returned them and the search goes on. March 6, 2014
